At its virtual meeting on the morning of Tuesday, June 9, 2020, members and guests of Beacon Angels heard, considered and evaluated funding proposals from the following new companies:
- Thomas Wenchell proposed funding for RevMedica, which is developing a reusable robotic system for handheld laparoscopic surgery, and
- Ori Noked proposed funding for ORI Imaging, which is developing an optical imaging device for early diagnosis, screening, and monitoring of deep tissue pathological conditions such as pressure injuries, post-traumatic brain injury inflammation, and potentially, skin cancers.
We also heard members’ due diligence reports on:
- Diesel Labs, and
- GelMEDIX.
